Fairlane Acres Speedway is a 1/8 mile banked clay racing track located just 3 miles from the Dover Air Force Base (off of Kitts Hummock Rd.) in Dover, DE. The track started in 1997 as a backyard "fun" track and grew to having over 100 karts per weekend in 2002. The track was then paved with asphalt in 2003 for more exciting racing. As the interest for asphalt racing went away, the racers went away with it. BUT GOOD NEWS!!!... The track has been renovated back to the high bank 1/8 mile clay track that was popular in the early 2000's!!! We will have racing resume for the 2014 season. Stay tuned for more updates on the track!

ATTENTION:
This Saturday August 23, 2014 we will be having a benefit race for the Johnson Family. The Johnson Family just lost their baby boy David Johnson IV, he battled through many health problems and unfortunately suffered a stroke with organ failure at just 3 years old. The Johnson Family has continuously supported our race track so it is our turn to help them with overwhelming medical bills and funeral costs! We will be having a donation bucket at the registration booth as well as a 50/50 drawing, and a Chinese/silent auction! We will be having our regular non-points series with Ace'n Race'n and Shore Speed Sponsoring a class. Every class will have the opportunity to donate $10 extra dollars to race in a money race in their class. $5 of the extra money will go to the Johnson family and $5 will go to the winner of that race. If you choose to race for the money the entry fee will be $40 instead of $30 but it will be for a great cause! If you choose not to run for the money it will be $30 to race. We will elaborate more at the track and if anyone has any questions they can message me on here or give us a call! Please grab all of your family members and friends to come out and race for the Johnson Family!
On top of the extra $5 towards the winner of the race when you pay the $40 to enter...Boonies Sports Bar and Funtime Motorsports would like to do the following. Have a money race for the following classes. Adult stock flathead, adult stock animal and outlaw lite. Current track rules apply. Normal racing format. These are not additional races. Minimum of 6 karts per class. Payout ( $150-1st $100-2nd $50-3rd) to top 3 in each class. Dig deep folks, they need some help!!!
We are looking for Chinese/silent auction donations for the benefit to help the Johnson family Let's all join together as racing families and help. If each family can find any unwanted new or like new items they have on hand but wouldn't mind giving up we could gather things for boys girls men and women household items toys and extra racing items or anything else you're capable of giving.
